Begin your adventure at Wadi El Rayan, a protected desert oasis famous for its two natural lakes surrounded by sweeping sand dunes.
You’ll visit Egypt’s only waterfalls, where freshwater cascades from the upper lake to the lower one – a rare sight in the middle of the desert.
Expect beautiful views, wildlife spotting (especially migratory birds and desert gazelles), and plenty of opportunities for spectacular photography.

🦴 Wadi El Hitan (Valley of the Whales):
Next, you’ll head deep into the desert to discover one of the most fascinating fossil sites in the world, designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Wadi El Hitan contains well-preserved skeletons of prehistoric whales that lived over 40 million years ago, when the area was once a vast ocean.
You’ll explore:
Whale fossils embedded in the desert floor
The Fossils and Climate Change Museum, showcasing rare marine fossils
Stories of evolution and extinction shared by your guide in an open-air desert setting.
